This past weekend we headed up north for a memorial weekend for Patrick's grandfather who passed away a couple days before our wedding. This is the grandparents' ranch in Williams, where about 20 people gathered this weekend to spend time together. There are lots of pics, so let's get to it:
This is the main house (there are four in all):
The sign says, "Papa Cooper's Garden"
The garden, on the side of the house:

The house looks onto their pasture in front, where the boys (and some gals) enjoy some skeet shooting:

Easy, there:
Pat showing us how the skeet thrower works. It's like seeing oz:
Me, Patrick, Annie, Evan, Molly, and of course, Butter:
All the cousins: Me, Patrick, Annie, Evan, Molly, Mark, Caycee, Garrett:

Not so cute.
The dining area at the side of the house. I should have gotten a pic of the huge grill and the firepit nearby where we all gathered after dinner:
The whole area:

The ranch!
This is from the entrance of the ranch, near the caretaker's house, looking back towards the ranch. You can't see it at all! You can't tell on here, but the wildflowers were amazing.
Looking from the road toward "Uncle Tom's Cabin," another bunk house

That's it! It was beautiful and we had a great time!

looks like so much fun!! what a beautiful piece of property!! I love the "after breakfast on the porch" photo!! I have to say there is nothing like family together, eating breakfast and then hanging out on the front porch together!! I LOVE breakfast and I LOVE it more with family & friends!! Don't ask me why, there is just something about it!!
Love the ranch - it's nice to see pictures of it. The garden reminds me of Mr. McGregor's garden from the Peter Rabbit books. And that is the hugest zucchini I've ever seen - wow.
So, what is the plan for this farm/ranch? Are they going to keep it in the family? Does anyone live there now?
nobody lives there now, pat, patrick's dad goes up all the time. It's a little in limbo right now...TBD :)
